SEPHORA - Perfecting Cover Foundation

Sephora recently add a new item to their collection, the 'Perfecting cover foundation'.

Though she had not been made ​​for combination/oily skin, i can use it without having to retouch or add powder.
She is considered long term, and in my skin and with my lifestyle the foundation stays about 5 hours intact.
In terms of texture is similar to MakeupForever HD, but has a dull finish and slightly more remarkable apereance.
In short I am satisfied with my purchase.


In Portugal the price is 15€.

This summer our beloved Mac invests in new products like the 'Stick Blush' and'Stick Bronzer' following the trend colors peach, pink and coral.

Lancôme 'Hypnôse Drama' = Maybelline 'The falsies'

We all know that superdrug mascaras are underestimated. 

Given that the mascaras should only stay open between 3-6 months is ridiculous to spend tens of money in only one.

There its countless brands sold in supermarkets that make mascaras of excellent quality and versatility, and of course much more accessible.

In fact we find cheap brands of mascaras with a similar brush, identical functionally and the same results of a high end brands (much more expensive).

Here is an example:

One of the newest mascaras from Lancome is the 'Hypnôse Drama' and the brand promises a stunning volume on the first use.

There are widely divergent opinions on this product, there are those who consider this a fantastic mascara and have seen a big difference on the first use, but there's also those who say it is misleading advertising.

Personally I did not think the Hypnôse Drama is a product of excellence for the price it requires, about 27€.

One of the newest mascaras from Maybelline is 'The falsies Volume Express' that promises a false eyelashes effect.

Although i think that it is another mascara on the market, i admit that it is an excellent alternative to 'Hypnôse Drama', and much cheaper.

The price is around € 13.
